Application Process
Edelweiss Private Academy offers Grades K - 8 programs to students with autism, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD and students who experience other academic and/or social difficulties in main stream education.
In order for the admission to be completed, each student is evaluated and recommendations are offered to parents/guardians about the best suitable grade level and programming.
Note that Edelweiss Private Academy obtains an academic and behavioural history from your child's previous school to help determine placement and programming. Disclosure forms will be sent via email after an application is received.
Parents/guardians are encouraged to provide all assessments and documentation that could help the staff become better acquainted with the student.
EPA enrolment is limited to ensure small teacher to student ratios. Students are placed according to skill and grade level, while also considering how best to facilitate social growth and development among peers. Once you complete the Application for Admission, we will contact you to further discuss placement and enrolment.
